Tarter Equine Hay Basket

Tarter’s Equine Hay Basket makes it easy to feed square hay bales to your herd. The  design improves digestion and decreases respiratory problems because it allows horses to eat in their natural feeding position.

Made with 1¾” steel tubing, this feeder creates space for three or four horses to feed at any given time. Our Equine Hay Basket features a smooth, heavy-duty plastic basket that tucks inside the circular steel tubing.

This basket keeps hay off the ground and has large ventilation gaps to reduce moisture. At the bottom of the basket, you’ll find holes that ensure proper drainage. This lightweight feeder is easy to move to keep feeding areas clean and improve pasture maintenance.
